In this blog I am going to be sharing with you how I use the New Moon and Full Moons as amplifiers of what I am trying to achieve or let go of and how we can use special times of the year such as the solstices to co-create your next steps.
For me, the New Moons are always about setting new intentions and looking at what I wish to co-create with the Universe. It’s not that I need to wait for a New Moon to do this, but I feel like the energies which are around at the time of the New Moon really help me.
A lot can depend on what else is going on with the planets too and whether there is an eclipse. The Moon is a beautiful feminine energy and helps us to deeply connect with our intuition.
I find it’s also important to work with the Full moon to release what no longer serves me and to forgive. This helps me to clear out any negativity before I look at what I wish to co- create when the New Moon comes along.
The Full Moon is a good time to make peace with ourselves. It can be an emotional time, as we deal with feelings that come up but that is better than not releasing and holding on to any negativity.
So, you see, we can use these energies in a very positive way.
They can enhance our spiritual practice and support us in our everyday lives which is very important as we are here to live as authentically as possible.
This month there is a Super Full Moon in Sagittarius. This takes place on the 14th of June. This is a great time to take a step back and see how far you’ve come in life. No matter what is being going on for you this year, on one level of another, you have evolved. So, look back and see what you’ve achieved over the past 12 months. As it’s a Supermoon the energies will be higher, so do take care of yourself as you work with these energies.
Then on the 29th of June there is a new moon in Cancer. This is a powerful one and it seems that we may be able to choose which of which of its vibrations we want to tune into. This is because there are two alignments forming after the new moon and therefore having an effect on it. There is a loving beautiful energy between Venus and Jupiter which shows us a lot of love. However, the second alignment has Mars and Pluto clashing which can demand our attention.
On the 21st of June we have the summer solstice, in the Northern hemisphere which has a deep spiritual meaning for many. It is at this moment in June that astrologers believe the Sun will be at its most powerful. As the longest day of the year, the summer solstice represents new beginnings as summer officially begins.
So, it signals the start of a brand-new season, and is viewed as a time of abundance. It’s a great time to choose to celebrate the Sun, as this moment can be seen as the ultimate triumph of light over dark.
While the summer solstice has its roots in nature, it’s also a time of inner reflection and regeneration, and you can also obtain enlightenment at this time.
The sun has a masculine energy and helps us to co-create and take action.
It’s a good time to reflect on what you have achieved since the Winter Solstice and then to plant the seeds of what you would like to create in the next six months.
To help you please find a Summer Solstice (32) Summer solstice meditation – YouTube meditation where you can tune in to the energies of the summer solstice, receive healing from The Great Central sun and the Earth’s Sun as well as feel grateful for what you have. You will also celebrate and set your intentions for the next 6 months.
